Thing #4
I found these blogs very illuminating. I like reading about people's personal opinions (the "I" statements). I was grateful to hear about issues that we all face including the importance of teaching ethics to our students. I thought that the blog about cell phones and spying were particularly relevant. Also, I loved the sweet blog from the 5th Grader; it gave me more motivation to help our students learn through technology.

I agree about the cell phones and spying. We really are in uncharted territory when it comes to the use of new technology as to what is/isn't acceptable. With social media like Facebook and Twitter, guidelines need to be clear and in place about what students should not be posting online.
